I’m supposedly supposed to do something else.

September 27, 2007

My mind is blank for some reason. I just wanna lay down and finish the story I am reading on this month's issue of "Readers Digest Asia" about the Harlequin Itchyicosis Disease or something along those lines.

Ooh. Browsing E-Bay PH. I found this: http://www.ebay.ph/viItem?ItemId=280154175040 its so worth it. Well, I think. the last time I saw the 360 prices were like I have no clue. Haha.

Well yeah, I really want a 360 at the moment because my computer is lame, and I like the Microsoft games and such. I wanna play Halo 3, Stranglehold, and BioShock.

But, buying at an official dealer would be the smartest idea. I'm sure that its manufactured here in Asia, and that it is recently manufactured, I don't wanna encounter the 3 red rings of death. Many just freak out with any number of rings there is, but 3 is the worst. 2 is just that the cable ain't connected properly and I can;t remember the rest.

I wanna show this to mum, but I'm sure of her answer already. "Pag nagka-pera tayo"  its what I always hear from her. I can go on and on about my mum, but I won't.

 Intrams in a week.

I want a pug puppy named Yoda.

September 24, 2007

Uhh yeah. The title says it all.  I miss Sam, and no one can ever replace him. But I do miss having someone around the house to run after and just care for. Argh. We don't have any servants anymore so its harder to have a pet, especially a dog.

Why Pug?

I always liked wrinkled dogs, but I must say they seem hard to look after. And plus, aren't they just the most cutest things you've ever seen? :)

 Why Yoda?

Star Wars-y. Yes.  Well, pugs always seemed kinda alien-y and a Star Wars name just fits. yoda. nice. haha.

I always come up with weird names. Sam used to be Akvil or something like that before getting "Sam".

Who am I kidding? EVERYONE. Haha, well, Joe Trohman loves Star Wars and has a pet pug named Lola.

I swear I love wrinkled dogs even before him. ;P

Ooh! Good news! I'm moving nearer to school. We're hoping to move to a house, but condo's fine. I just want my Yoda.

OTHER NAMES TO CONSIDER:

Beru [From Beru Whitesun Lars]

Bodo [Bodo Baas

BoShek [BoShek and BioShock]

Crion

Luke [Haha. Darth Vader: Luke, *kurrrh* I am your father *kurrrh*

Sion [Darth Sion

Vader [Darth Vader

Skywalker [Luke Skywalker]

There are still alot to consider but Yoda is my all time favorite.

My Guide for a good Concert Experience

September 22, 2007

The FOB concert was amazing. I'm not in the mood to go into detail yet.

Eh, I saw a lot of people wearing inappropriate clothing, which I bet most of them regret after the concert.

1. Be Comfortable

The most important rule ever. You can still be stylish with comfortable clothing. Wear a simple shirt or blouse with pants, sneakers and try to keep your hair away from your face.

Big no-nos:

        1. Mini skirts [gahd, I must say those who wore miniskirts last night definitely looked stupid+slutty. ] you can't jump in one properly anyway when at rock concerts.

        2. Too many accessories [tiaras, hoop earings, dangling earings, and such other stuff that people can catch themselves into. Oh yeah, chains.] People might get caught in them and you might even end up loosing them after. Trust me on this one.

        3.  Open shoes. You might/will get stomped/stepped on.

2. Come on time.

No matter what, come on time. There are alot of pre-madonna artists out there, but some of them actually start the show on time. And, you won't have to go through a messy crowd if you come early

3. Be full before you go.

Don't go with an empty stomach.

4. Always have water with you

5. Go to the bathroom before you go.

6. Have your schedule sorted out.

Make sure you know where to be picked up or to meet friends before and after to avoid hassle.

7. Go with your Cellphone and Camera fully  charged.

You don't want your possibly only communication device to go dead. Oh, dapat may load ka din!

8. Only bring what you need.

But it in a bag that you don't mind holding on for the whole concert. Things in the bag should include a towel, tissue, cologne, some candy, cellphone, camera, marker (you never know if you might bump into the band), ponytail holder.

9. Dab on some foundation before you go.

Being around alot of people, singing at the same time, screaming at the top of your lungs might end up with a dirty face. put on a thin coat of foundation to avoid the worst.

10. Ehh. can't think of anything else.

I owe myself 5 hours of sleep

September 20, 2007

My back and arm is sore. Ouchies to that.

Fall Out Boy Concert tomorrow. I'm excited but there's something that makes me feel left out.

I'm done with my Biology report on Plants. FINALLY.

Need to make 34 xerox copies for each page of my report. Yikes. budget please! 136 pages all in all. Around 270-ish then. 55 pesos per group member.

Math. I need to know how to compute faster. :(

I wanna go to sleep, but I need to study. And I need to do my notes in History. Dammit.

Oh, we said sorry to Mrs. King already. It went smooth! Great great great.

Did I mention I am under alot of stress? I dunno if my classmates have noticed but I've been so sungit and am hot-tempred . GAH. that's what happens when I'm having enough problems, and if you just add it up, oh, be prepared.

I can feel the stress rushing through me. I am far from my healthy, relaxed life style of the summer. I used to eat 3 apples a day, drink milk, eat cereal, drink juice and have a healthy diet and I got to walk around and soak up the sun. Now, I depend on brownies and cold cold water to make me go through the day.

Friends at school = our little group is pairing up and going out own ways, me going the farthest of all. Why? Ehh, this happened last year with me, I just separated because I need some thinking time, and I just need to get things straightened out.

Darn. Mum brought in visitors. Time for sleep.

Fall Out Boy

I'm Like a Lawyer With the Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off

Infinity On High

Last Years Wishes,
Are This Years Apologies,
Every Last Time I Come Home,
I Take My Last Chance To Burn a Bridge Or Two,
I Only Keep Myself This Sick In The Head,
Because I Know How the Words Get You,

We're The New Face Of Failure,
Prettier and Younger,
But Not Any Better Off,

Bulletproof Loneliness,
(At Best, at Best)

Me And You, Setting In A Honeymoon,
If I Woke Up Next To You,
If I Woke Up Next To You,
Me And You, Setting In A Honeymoon,
If I Woke Up Next To You,
If I Woke Up Next To You,

Collect The Bad Habits,
That You Couldn't Bear To Keep
,
Out Of The Woods, But I Love,
A Tree, I Used To Lay Beneath,
Kissed Teeth Stained Red
From A Sour Bottle Baby Girl,
With Eyes The Size Of Baby Worlds,

The Best Way To Make It Through,
With Hearts And Wrists Intact,
Is To Realize,
2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad, Ain't Bad

…Honeymoon

[I'm Like a Lawyer With the Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You) lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

So Completely in love with the lyrics above. I cut the lyrics by the way so it would not look so redundant.

Well, yeah. In other Fall Out Boy News: They'll have an Autograph signing at the SM Mall Of Asia on Wednesday 4pm

The song above game me a good story for a Sims video/story.

Ooh, I'm now saving up my money to buy the computer myself. Its going to take a while. But, if I save up for bit by bit, I'll hopefully make it.

first the list:

Hard Drive

         Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200RPM SATA
            P 4,520.00

I'll just buy 1 first. I'll make my mum buy me the Motherboard and Graphics card and Processor!

Codename: SUPERCOMPUTER

Mum won't let me go. And she won't go for me. :| darn. I was like:

Me:         Mum, if I can't go, then you go. Take pictures of Joe.

Mum:     Joe?

Me:        The Guy with the beard.

Mum:    o.o

Me:        The one who decorated his foyer with the Cross and Moss.

Mum:    Ohhh!

Me:         So you'll go?

Mum:    No.

Me:

Then we talked about other Fall Out Boy crap while on our way to Taco Bell for some dinner.

  .:The End:.

Don’t Stop If I fall, and don’t look back, bury me and fade to black

September 13, 2007

Yaay! Mum likes Trohman's foyer, she even said "Wow!" Haha. rare reaction I get from my mum.

What's with the title? No reason really, I just like that line, from some MRC song that I keep on seeing everywhere. Take note: I don't hear it, only see it.

I've been sick the past 2 days, with a fever, body ache and head ache. My body feels hot, but I feel so cold. Sleeping is just something I want to do but seemed impossible since I was so uncomfortable, and I stood out of bed with my joints cracking one at a time. Ouch. Ouch indeed.

My neck is still soar. And my mum won't do anything about it, she thinks I'm faking it already when I'm not! If I was faking it, then why am I wearing 2 pairs of socks over my feet, and PJ's? I rarely wear PJ's, well, actually almost never.

But, I am forcing myself to go to school tomorrow, since tomorrow, we have the Biology Reporting, then Recitation of Poems in English and, I want the slip for the PTC. And plus, if you are absent for 3 days, you need a medical slip, well, my mum, who is a total cheap-o, self medicates. And, listen to this: when I lost my toe, she didn't wanna bring me to the hospital :| stoopid. I had 5thousand pesos in my wallet that day (was supposed yo go shopping that day -_-) and she didn't wanna take me to the hospital! She said that the toe will be fine, just let it be. Sheesh. That day I was so mad at her since it was like she didn't care about my health. And now I'm going to stop writing since I'm tearing up.

Oh yeah, I love the Tyra Banks show this evening, Teensville thingy. So many of those topics were in my mind, but I just couldn't put it into words. Awesome work Tyra.

1 week 'til Fall Out Boy Concert. Yaay.

Congratulations to the cast of the Broadway Spectacle at OBMC by the way, great job! Too bad I couldn't see it though! lol

It's a minute to 9pm. I'm heading for bed with a piece of paper. iPod is no help, it just makes it worse. iPod hurts my ears.

TROHMANIA Rocks my Socks.

September 10, 2007

love love love what he did to his foyer, the whole moss and the cross thing, beautiful.

Well, I still oppose of his beard/mustache. He looks older, but then he looks more Jewish. Wait, right jews don't believe in Christ? Then why did he have a cross in his foyer? o.O eh. moving on.

I love his home. Dark yet clean and modern. I love it, it screams peace and tranquility.

Yaaay, Phatty Phones for all!

September 7, 2007

finally, Apple has announced the new line of iPods (well, internet bloggers have already spilled it around 2 months before. heh. but, at least its now official.)

 Copy&Pasted from Apple.com

Now works with vista.  smaller dock connector.

iPod classic

iPod Classic: what we know now as the "iPod video" but, since the new nano has video, it has the name of "classic"

iPod shuffle

iPod shuffle

iPod shuffle: same old same old, just new colors. which are more safe than the colors we have now

iPod nano

iPod nano now sports video! and, a new phatty design, and the aluminum behind, say hello to scratches again. -_-

iPod touch

iPod touch: the newest addition to the iPod line, looks just like an iPhone, minus camera and phone features. WiFi and web browsing has been added, for people who care more about style than features really.

We’ll find another way to dance

September 5, 2007

Tae Bo Presentation today. I must say it went well, even with a many bad steps that I made here and there, we got a score of 19/20 :D

We danced to Young Love's "Find a New Way" something no one from the group has heard of before. Well, except Jessica since she watches DanceLife.

My whole body is soar now. It was intense! Haha. Well, we practiced like 10 times in 1 hour and I kept on jumping around to get more energy and I fooled around by dancing to other songs just to keep me active. Haha. Oh well, that's my consequence.

Argh. Practice tomorrow for Intramurals. Well, I think so, still need to make sure. Damm, I need load. GAH. don't wanna go down. The elevator is so slow and… slow!

Here's The Killers' "My List" lyrics.

Let me wrap myself around you
Let you show me how I see

And when you come back in from nowhere
Do you ever think of me?

Your heart is not able
Let me show you how much I care
I need those eyes to tide me over
I’ll take your picture when I go
It gives me strength and gives me patience
But I’ll never let you know

I got nothing on you baby
But I always said I try
Let me show you how much I care
Cause sometimes it gets hard
And don’t she know
Don’t give the ghost up just clench your fist
You should have known by now you were on my list
Don’t give the ghost up just clench your fist
You should have known by now you were on my list
Don’t give the ghost up just clench your fist
You should have known by now you were on my list
When your heart is not able
And your prayers they’re not fables
Let me show you (let me show you)
Let me show you (let me show you)
Let me show you how much I care oh

There’s a story for every Photograph

September 4, 2007

Today, in our Tuesday assembly, we had a mass dedicated to the late Journalist and Publisher, Mr. Maximo V. Soliven. Today was supposedly his 78th birthday celebration if he was still with us today. Mrs. Sara Soliven- De Guzman also made a speech, about her father on his last few days and how he has been with her throughout her life. That speech was very touching, I must admit my eyes watered up. I'll post some quotes in the end of what I remember. We also watched the Burial of Mr. Soliven at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.

Okay, so on to what my post will be about. Well, I assume that my dad loved photography for a photo always tells a story. Going through his photo albums  are just so much fun for me, for I learn about my father's past marriage, for I knew little about it up to this day. I decide to just let that topic be anyways since it was never brought up, and I don't want to be the one who will bring it up. Well, other than his marriage, I learn about how my sisters grew up, and the texture of the photos just seem so vintage (well, it is vintage anyway!)

In the earlier photo albums,  its mostly pictures of my sisters throughout their life. Infant, toddler, child, pre-teen, teenager, and young adult. Looking at the photos is like looking at the characters from That 70's Show the hair, clothes, accessories, it just so much alike. I actually laughed at my cousin Carsten in short shorts, and fly-away hair.

I remember when I would show these pictures to my Auntie, and she would just tell me so many stories behind the photo, as if we were going through a storybook. And my uncle would see his picture and just say "wasn't I macho then?" and grin.

I wish I could share some of the pictures with you, but when I scan up pictures with my scanner, they seem so dark, and with the vintage feel of every photo, you might not see what I wanted you to see.

If my dad were alive today, I bet he'd get an SLR digital camera. he loved taking photos of nature, especially the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. That's why he loved the view of his office in Roxas Blvd. He could see the ocean, and he was at work early enough to see the sun rise, so he'd take out his camera (back then, manual cameras where the rage) and take a picture of the beautiful sunrise of Manila over the bay.  I guess I inherited the love of the beauty of nature. Every morning, I get to see the sun rise (when its not cloudy) and its just one of the most beautiful things I ever have seen because my room is located at the East side, and I can see the mountains of Antipolo[?]'s silhouette against the morning light and sky. Too bad my digital camera can't capture this. The colors aren't what I see, and the mountain's are far from what I see aswell.

I decided to give my family photographs of the past for  Christmas this year. I'll get the negatives and ask for it to be edited to black and white. There are just so many stunning photos.

Here's a bit of what Mrs. Sara said:

Appreciate every moment you have with your parents, even if they may seem wrong and you are the right one, always go to sleep in peace to show that you are humble to them.

I said to myself to appreciate my parents, and listen to what they taught me, even if it seemed like I knew everything at the time [I was a teenager] because when I grew up and began a family of my own, I realized that they were right.
